Settings, Users, and Permissions
Manage company settings, user invitations, custom roles, permission assignment, two-step login, and operating policies.
Use this when: You are an admin configuring company settings, users, roles, and permissions.
Settings and access control decide how your company operates: who can work in each module, which policies apply, and how sessions and external portals behave.
What Admins Control
Users
Invite users, create accounts directly, activate or deactivate people, and assign one or more roles with one primary role.
Roles
Create custom roles, adjust built-in roles (except the locked admin role), and grant permissions by module and action.
Security
Manage two-step login, recovery codes, password recovery, session timeout, and email verification.
Policies
Control payment approval, the inspection-before-completion rule, automatic stock posting from daily reports, maintenance mode, language, timezone, and currency.
How Permissions Are Organised
Permissions are grouped by module and action. For each module — such as projects, purchase orders, attendance, payroll, or settings — you can grant actions like view, create, update, approve, export, assign, or manage.
Built-in roles cover common jobs: admin, project manager, supervisor, site engineer, store manager, procurement officer, accountant, finance manager, HR/payroll manager, contractor, and viewer. Admin always has full access and stays locked.
A role is a set of allowed actions across the modules a person needs — nothing more.
