Client Portal

Give clients a project-scoped, read-only view of approved progress, reports, inspections, photos, and documents through a secure link.

Use this when: You want to give a client a secure, read-only view of their project without exposing internal data.

Client access is external, tied to a single project, and completely separate from your internal accounts. It shows useful project information while keeping procurement, labour, finance, and AI details private.

  1. 1

    Create the access

An admin creates a client access record from the Clients area or a project's Clients tab.

  2. 2

    Generate a secure link

A unique link is created. The full link is only shown when it is generated, refreshed, or sent — it is stored safely, never in plain view.

  3. 3

    The client verifies

The client opens the link and receives a secure portal session.

  4. 4

    The client browses

They see the project dashboard, approved daily reports, inspections, photos, documents, and summaries.

  5. 5

    Revoke or refresh anytime

Admins can revoke access or rotate the link whenever needed.

The Visibility Boundary

Visible to the clientHidden from the client
Project name, status, location, dates, completionVendor names and supplier contacts
Approved stage and milestone summariesMaterial unit rates and internal cost lines
Approved daily reports and visible photosLabourer identities, wages, and payroll
Approved, client-visible inspectionsInternal notes and AI analysis
Client-visible photos and documentsDraft or unapproved documents

The external view is intentionally limited

Client trust depends on clarity and sharing only what is meant to be shared. When in doubt, keep it internal.
